When playing the song, you will notice if you listen carefully, that the F# power
chord and the E power chord do not have the third string resonating while the
A power chord does. This is just a little thing that I noticed that may help you
sound more exact when playing this song.

playing it in position five allows for a faster change between the C# and the A)

(In this case, conversely, you could play the A power chord in the fifth position
versus the zero position, but upon inspection of the song, you can tell that the
third note of the chord is played on the G string rather than up on the D string.
Where the high D string note would have a thicker sound, playing it on the second
fret of the G string gets you that "cutting" tone you hear in the recording.)
