Joel Plaskett Emergency "Soundtrack for the night" Album: Ashtray Rock Tabbed by: Colin Finlay colinwfinlay #@# rogers.com Tuning: Open G tuning Capo: 5th fret —Start by tuning your sixth string down a tone to D. Check the tuning with the fourth string. —Then tune your fifth string down a tone to G. Check the tuning with the third (G) string. —Lastly, tune your first string down a tone to D. Check the tuning with the fourth (D) string. —Put capo on 5th fret. Don't ask me how I figured out this song was in open G tuning, but it just kind of came me. I figured out how to play the intro in standard tuning, but it just didn't sound and once you get to the pre—chorus and chorus it needs to be in open G with a capo on fret. I watched some videos of this song being played live to make sure I was on the path. This tab is always up for interpretation, I believe most of it is correct, but if you you have something to add to it, please email me! Intro "Yeah I loved our band...."
