The Tallest Man On Earth — The Gardener (ver 2) Chords

  Rate this tab:
Capo on 3
Chords: This is my first tab, I'm an amateur and don't
really know exactly what these chords are but I think
they sound right and make it easy to play. He plays it
in some kind of weird tuning but I'm not very good at
figuring that stuff out or playing in different tuning
so this is a way to play it in standard. Keep your pinky
and ring fingers on the third fret for most of the song.
On the D hammer on and off between 2 and 3 on the bottom
string where you think it sounds cool. You can add little
fills and hammer—ons on basically all the chords wherever
you want. The messier the better.

G ? Em C D
3 2 0 0 0
2 0 2 3 0
0 0 2 2 0
0 0 0 0 2
3 3 3 3 3
3 3 3 3 2/3

Intro: Start with the G chord and mess around with your second finger wherever it sounds cool.

Verse:

G ? Em
I sense a runner in the garden

C D
Although my judgement's known to fail......

Keep that going until you get here:

C D G
I know the runner's going to tell you

C D G
There ain't no cowboy in my hair
C D G
So now he's buried by the daisies
C D G
So I could stay the tallest man in your eyes, babe

That's pretty much it.. just improvise and figure out what
you think sounds best. He never plays it the same way so change
it up however you want. Gotta love The Tallest Man on Earth!
This is such a great song. Let me know if you have any questions.
